By using kolkatateachers.com (“Platform”), operated by Hayat International IT Services Private Limited, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
  • Teachers must provide accurate qualifications, complete mandatory SMS/WhatsApp verification, and may submit CVs for sharing with parents or schools.
  • Schools must provide valid institutional documents and complete mandatory SMS/WhatsApp verification.
  • Parents must provide accurate information and complete mandatory SMS/WhatsApp verification.

2. Verification Requirements

  • Mandatory SMS/WhatsApp Verification: All users must verify their mobile number and/or WhatsApp number to access the Platform. This ensures secure communication and prevents misuse.
  • Optional Identity Verification: Users may voluntarily verify their identity using Aadhaar (with explicit consent) or alternative government-issued IDs (e.g., PAN, voter ID, passport) to enhance trust.
  • Mandatory Institution Verification: Schools must submit valid documents (e.g., registration certificate, affiliation documents) to confirm legitimacy, protecting job-seeking teachers. Failure to comply may restrict access.
  • Non-compliance with mandatory verifications will limit platform access.

3. CV Submission and Sharing

  • Teachers may submit CVs to be shared with parents or schools as part of the matching process.
  • CV sharing requires explicit consent, which can be managed via account settings. Teachers can specify which CV details are shared.
  • Hayat International IT Services Private Limited ensures CVs are securely stored on servers in India and shared only with authorized users or service providers necessary for platform functionality.

4. Use of the Platform

  • Permitted Use: Use the Platform to connect with teachers, parents, or schools for educational purposes.
  • Prohibited Activities:
    • Providing false information, including in CVs or verification.
    • Engaging in unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent activities.
    • Uploading harmful content or using automated tools without consent.

5. Data Sharing and Consent

  • You consent to sharing profile, CV, and verification data with other users for matching purposes.
  • Hayat International IT Services Private Limited will not share your data with third parties for non-essential purposes without explicit consent.
  • You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents (e.g., parental consent for student data).

6. Account Responsibilities

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
  • You are liable for activities conducted through your account.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Platform content (e.g., text, logos) is owned by or licensed to Hayat International IT Services Private Limited.
  • Do not reproduce or modify content without permission.

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms or failing mandatory verification.
  • You may terminate your account via account settings or by contacting us.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties.
  • Hayat International IT Services Private Limited is not liable for damages arising from use, including CV sharing, verification issues, data breaches, or user interactions.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided or verified information, including CVs.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
